Potatoes are the most vital and cheaply available vegetable in the market. It adds taste to all vegetables. We can say Tastemaker :) . Here are few dishes you can try with potatoes at home. I am sure you will definitely relish them. SADA ALOO INGREDIENTS: *1/2 Kg potato *1 tbsp oil * 1-2 green chillies * 1/2 tsp jeera * 1/2 tsp salt * 1/4 tsp red chilli powder * 1/4 tsp turmeric powder METHOD: * Heat oil in a pan * Add jeera and after it platters add the sliced potatoes * Fry till it becomes golden brown and soft * Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder * Cook for few more minutes Delicious potato bhaji is ready to serve, with puris or chapati as you may wish. Here is a collection of some mouth watering south Indian dishes. Masala Dosa Dosa Ingredients: :- 2 cups rava :- 1/2 cup rice flour :- 1/2 cup buttermilk :- 1/4 tsp asafoetida :- salt to taste :- 1 piece ginger :- 2 green chillies :- 10-12 curry leaves :- 1/4 cup coconut scrapped :- 12 cashewnuts :- 2 tblsp refined oil to fry To make dosa : *Blend rava, rice flour and buttermilk to make a thin batter, add asafoetida and required salt. *Stand the batter for at least 6 hours. *Wash and finely chop the ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
